Jefferson City is actually the largest city inside of Jefferson County, while the county seat is Dandridge, TN.   Jefferson County is a water lovers paradise with 41 square miles of fun filled French Broad River, Douglas Lake and Cherokee Lake available for boating, water skiing, and swimming!  If your a boat owner or a water lover, you’ll find that Jefferson County offers everyting you could want from a lake vacation in the Smokies!

You can also visit the Smoky Mountain Expo Center - 1615 Pavilion Dr, White Pine, TN‎.
Used for large expositions, livestock shows, crafts fairs, horse shows, auto racing, boat shows & other community events, the Smoky Mountain Expo Center is located just off of Hwy 25E near Dandridge.  From Newport folow Hwy 25E toward Dandridge & Morristown, the Expo Center is on your left, or take I81 Exit 8 and follow 25E toward Newport and the Expo center will be on your right fairly soon.
