Welcome to our home. We hope you take the name as it is. Life here is the Lazy Man's Way.
Our cabin is located on the corner of the Main Channel and Muddy Creek on Douglas Lake. It is year round lakefront.
We have added a new floating dock that is partially covered and has a boat slip. It has a concrete ramp all the way to the waters edge.
Located in the front yard is a covered & lighted BBQ pit/picnic area. There is plenty of lawn furniture with a hammock
and a swing down on the bank for watching the breathtaking sunsets or relaxing the afternoon away. On the deck there are 2 tables with chairs, a swing, a couple of rockers
and a 6 person hottub. There are lots of bird feeders in the yard and the hummingbirds will come right up to the deck.
Inside our home features 3 bedrooms and a loft with 2 full baths and hardwood floors throughout. The bedroom layout
is One Queen and One Double on the main floor and a Queen on the 2nd floor and in the loft it has a queen size futon bed and a single rollaway. In the living room on the
main floor is a TV /VCR with Direct TV beside a stack stone gas fireplace. The loft area has a TV/VCR also.
Our home has 2 skylights so the cabin is very lighted. The kitchen is open and airy and the table seats 6, however most
people enjoy eating breakfast on the 2 tables located on the porch.
The main floor bathroom boasts a 2 person Jetted Tub with a glass shower stall. The upstairs bathroom has a glass
shower stall.
There is a shared boat loading ramp located just before you get to the cabin and actually joins the property of the cabin
which makes it very convenient.
