Knasgowa (k-nos-go-wa) Place is a HeartSong Artworks Signature home. This lovely home is nestled on the banks of Douglas Lake and is adorned with Cherokee, Celtic & Appalachian heritage themes. Designed & decorated by artist Lelia Gina Canter. This beautiful home was named after the blue herons that are in abundance in the area. Knasgowa means heron in the Cherokee language. This home is nestled on 5 acres in a private lakefront cove adjoining Angel Island Wildlife Refuge. Knasgowa home is a lovely home. The main floor has a living / dining area/ kitchen, a half bath and the master suite complete with a jetted tub and a seperate stand up shower. Just out the back door is a wonderful screened porch with a hot ub and your white wicker furniture to relax and read or just enjoy a leisurely afternoon. Upstairs is 2 bedrooms and a bath. The living, dining area has the tv, fireplace and the pool table. Just s short stroll through the yard down to the dock where you can fish or just realax by the water. Enjoy your Douglas Lake Vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. WE are just a short drive into Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, the Bristol Raceway, and Cherokee North Carolina.
To accomodate larger groups you can group Angel Cove cabin with ,Knasgowa and Angels Rest to sleep up to 33 people.
