Chapel Cove Detailed Description
Chapel Cove is an extraordinary cabin on Tennessee's Douglas Lake. It was built with hundred-year
old hand hewn beams and hardwood floors recycled from historic churches. Surrounded by nature's
beauty, this home is a short drive from the national park and many attractions. We provide all
linens, but bring your own beach towels to use after swimming. Satellite TV, a DVD player and local
phone service are provided. We have covered porches with rocking chairs and a hammock for your
enjoyment on those lazy afternoons or early morning coffee. This is a very cozy spacious log home
with all the Smoky Mountain Charm. Pet friendly with only 1 pet under 25 lbs.with a $50.00 pet fee.
Some larger pets acccepted with prior approval by owner only. Guests have full use of a concrete boat launch and floating dock that are a short stroll less than a hundred yards away. The dock and boat launch are shared with the owners of Chapel Cove who will have their own boat moored at the dock. You may moor your boat at this dock, trailer your boat when not in use, or park your boat in front of Chapel Cove when the water level is appropriate. We ask that you do not attach your boat to the owners boat. Enjoy your Douglas Lake Vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. WE are just a short drive into Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, the Bristol Raceway, and Cherokee North Carolina.
